The Beach at Craig Ranch is one of the premier athletic facilities for beach sports. Set within the beautiful Craig Ranch Urban Master-Planned Community in the northern Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, between the Michael Johnson Performance Center and The Ballfields, The Beach offers 12 pristine sand courts that can move seamlessly between beach volleyball, beach tennis, beach soccer, beach football among other fun sports and activities. And, unlike typical sand facilities, The Beach is proud to be junior friendly. Leagues, tournaments, special pro events, plus ample time for free play and socializing – all this and more is available at The Beach. There is something for everyone at The Beach! The Beach at Craig Ranch is officially open with food service plus beverages!!!  Our menu will be posted soon.  The Beach is a membership-based facility, which means that any general use of the facility (i.e. Open Play, access to Pavilion area) is reserved for members, guests of members, guests of The Beach or participants in paid sponsored programs at The Beach, as governed by our Membership Plan and our Guest Policy.  However, you do not need to be a member to register for leagues, clinics, camps, lessons or tournaments and book parties and rent courts.  However, members will generally receive some discounts when registering for these activities and have priority for bookings.   Please consider becoming a member today and click here for more details!!!

Master Plan

For Juniors:

Beach volleyball is becoming an increasingly popular sport for juniors. And with the NCAA soon to be adding women’s beach volleyball as a Division I sport, that popularity is skyrocketing. The Beach will offer juniors leagues, tournaments, camps and clinics for both boys and girls.

In addition, one can simply become a member and show up, hang out, and play beach volleyball and other fun beach sports. Or, just lay out with friends by a court under a shade umbrella and sip on a smoothie!

For Adults:

Weeknights will offer adult leagues in various sand sports beginning with novice to advanced players, and weekends will hold competitive tournaments. Free play for members and private court rentals are also available. The concession stand and ultimately a Sports Cafe will offer indoor and patio seating, with alcoholic beverages offered during non-junior events.

Professional Events:

The Beach is designed to host major professional beach sporting events, including the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP), Beach Tennis USA (BTUSA), and FIFA Beach Soccer. One weekend, fans may see Olympic Gold Medalists Misty May and Kerry Walsh spiking their way to another AVP victory, and on another watch professional beach tennis player Heinz Haas serve and volley at a BTUSA event.

Corporate Events:  

The Beach is a perfect place for corporate team building, or just plain fun and celebration. Facilities are available for private rental.
