Open Play is the time designated by The Beach for one or more courts, with different formats/sports/skill level on each, to be available for 'pick up' games. The Beach will try to accomodate reasonable requests for different court setups during Open Play hours. Open Play for Adults and Juniors will be separated when possible

Open Play hours are accessible to Members pursuant to a Membership Plan and Guests pursuant to our Guest Policy.

We have created events on our Master Event Calendar for general times for Open Play. However, at Management's sole discretion, Open Play may be increased or decreased from time time during certain times of the year to allow for other activities, such as league play, tournaments, special events and court reservations. The Open Play events scheduled for the next seven (7) calendar days will be listed under Upcoming Dates and Times below. Please contact Susan at (469) 247-3744 to check for availability at other times not listed or to reserve a court and pay the applicable Court Rental Fees. 

These guidelines are self-governed.  If players are not following this policy, ask The Beach staff to assist.  Any players not cooperating will be asked to leave without refund from The Beach.

• First come/First Serve for initial game on available courts and while no one is waiting for court use
• If all Open Play courts are in use and someone wants a court, they will sign the Open Play wait list at that court either individually or as a team, but note if more than one court is designated for Open Play, then a separate list will be located at each court.
• Play will be governed as follows:
• If you win, then you stay on court for a maximum of three games, but if you lose, you need to readd your name to a wait list.
• If teams and individuals are on the wait list, then will alternate between team, 2 singles, team, etc...
• If your name is not on the list then you will not play. You may not pick up a partner that just finished playing if there are 2 or more names on the wait list.
