King or Queen 2x2 Format on Mondays (Click Here to Register)

Players will sign-up individually and will be paired with different players each game. A minimum of four players required per division and a maximum of 48 players allowed for all divisions. We may elect to break the divisions into smaller groups to simplify the round robin pairings (i.e. no more than 12 individuals in a grouping). Each player paired at least once with each player and opposed each player at least twice. Round Robin of 1 game to 15 (12 or more players), 21 (8 players), or 25 (4 players plus with 4 players, each player to be paired twice with each player and opposed each player 4 times). The division winner will be the player who wins the most games. In the event of a tie, the player with the most cumulative points will be the winner. Ideally, individuals will be accepted in tournament in multiples of 4 on a 1st come, 1st serve basis, but we will try to accomodate an odd number of individuals joining where we can.

Divisions: A/AA or BB;

Gender: Same Gender Only at this time.

Players will sign-up as a team but contact susan@thebeachatcr.com if need players and she will try to help. Minimum 4 teams required per division but we may combine divisions as necessary. Pool Play with Round Robin consisting of 2 games to 15, 21, or 25 depending on the number of teams in each pool. With the number of teams in a division less than or equal to eight, all teams should make it to single elimination bracket play and seeding may be determined by cumulative point differentials against the field. Bracket play is expected to be 1 game to 21, but we may have adjust depending on number of courts available and time remaining after pool play. Division with more than 8 teams, a minimum of 2 teams from each pool will make it out of each pool into a single elimination bracket play.
