Adult Tennis at The Beach
A Family Friendly Environment

$5/per person

Please come and learn more about how Beach Tennis is played. You will then have the opportunity to dig your feet into the sand and compete in some friendly, progressive partner doubles. Invite your friends and come have some fun! Paddles will be provided but each clinic will be limited to number of paddles we have available, which is approximately 20 paddles. Clinic are part of our adult Saturday nights at The Beach so please stay and play until close at no extra charge.

When registering online, you will be asked to enroll in a clinic session based on level of play. The clinics will be free If you have registered for one of the Fall Leagues starting the week of September 12th or Summer II Opener Beach Tennis Tournament (August 27th and 28th). You still need to register online, but select pay later.

Adult Tennis Leagues
 

We offer doubles leagues only in nine divisions: Men's (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced); Women's (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) and Mixed (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced). Please click here for description of skill levels.

League times are usually scheduled to allow individuals to play in the same gender and mixed doubles in the same night. League fees will include 6 weeks of match play plus a season ending single elimination playoff tournament with at least the top 1/2 of the teams in each division qualifying for playoffs but most likely all teams will make it to play-offs. . Each week, teams will play the best two out of three 6 game sets, but with no-ad scoring. A 7-point tiebreaker is played to determine the winner of the set when the score becomes tied at 6-6. In the case of split sets, a 10-point tiebreaker is played to determine the "third set" winner. Players will be given 3 points for a straight sets win, 2 points for a split sets win, 1 point for a split sets loss, and 0 points for a straight sets loss. Awards are presented to division winners. Any exceptions to the above will be noted under specific league information.

Teams will play with paddles. The Beach has paddles available for use during the league at no additional costs. You can also purchase a beach tennis paddle at a discount from The Beach.

Registration Deadlines are noted below. To register online, please use our online registration system which offers credit card and other payment options (Click here for more details) by clicking the appropriate division under the appropriate league below. Please note that we may have to combine divisions depending on number of registants in each division. Awards given to division winners in each league.

Daytime Doubles ($70/team)

September 13th to October 25th

7 Week League. Register Before September 10th

1st 6 weeks match play plus end of season playoff tournament the 7th week. Match start times will be between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. Will work around conflicts.

Nighttime Doubles ($70/team)

September 14th to October 26th (Same Gender);

September 14th to October 19th Plus Novembe 2nd (Mixed)

7 week League. Register Before September 11th

1st 6 weeks match play plus end of season playoff tournament the 7th week. Match start times will be between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Will schedule mixed double matches around the same gender matches plus a 50% discount on one of leagues if sign-up for both. Select pay later when you register for both leagues and add a comment during registration that you have signed up for both leagues.

Adult Tennis Lessons
 

We offer private or group lessons scheduled at the mutual convenience of you and our instructor. The lesson will be geared toward each individual's specific goal. You can choose the skill(s) you want the instructor to emphasize. Before your lesson, think about and discuss your specific goals wth the instructor so he will be able to structure the time accordingly. The more you think about what you want to get out of a lesson, the more you will benefit from it.

David Scott will be the instructor to help take your game to the next level!!

Lessons can be reserved in 1 hour increments. We hope to have designated time slots for lessons but for now, please call (469) 247-3744 or email susan@thebeachatcr.com to check on court availability for your preferred day and time and we will coordinate with the instructor.

Cost per hour: 1 player = $50/player; 2 players = $30/player; 3 players = $22/Player; 4 players = $17/Player

Full payment is due at the time of the lesson and may be made by credit card, cash or check.
